About Cliffe Park Luxury Farm Stays
Cliffe Park is run by local cattle farmer Julian who you will see working around the farm, along with several family members and a few Labradors helping as well! You are welcome to bring your dog, we charge a small extra cleaning fee for bringing pets. But they are most welcome.
The estate comprises of a large Farmhouse, The Stable and two other larger converted barns – Middle Barn And Three Nooks Barn. We also have many guests that rent more than one of the properties at the same time for nearby weddings or larger family and friend get togethers.
We are situated right next to Rudyard Lake which is in between Macclesfield, Congleton and Leek. Leek being the nearest town at about 3 miles distance. With the nearest train stations Congleton 5 Miles, Macclesfield approximately 9 Miles, and Stoke on Trent 11 Miles. The postcode is SK11 0QZ.
We are the perfect accommodation to many local wedding venues such as Heaton House Farm Rushton Spencer – 2 Miles Distance / Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding Venue – 9 Miles Distance.
Right on your doorstep, you will have access to a popular footpath leading to The Staffordshire Way, a circular 5-mile public walk around Rudyard Lake, home to the Rudyard Sailing Club where you are able to get involved in activities such as canoeing, cycling, paddleboarding, sailing or even hire your own rowing boat.
As well as these activities, on the surrounding banks of the Lake, there are many places to stop for a quick drink or some food, such as the dog-friendly Galley Cafe.
Further along the footpath, you will pass Rudyard Station, where you can enjoy a ride on their Miniature Steam Train throughout the day.
Other things to note
If a children’s cot, high-chair or additional bedding is required, please advise prior to arrival.
